A survey of yoga teachers and learners in the United States by W. E. Conner et al. Shows that the higher the level of practice, the less fat-related foods are ingested and the fewer work-days due to illness are. The survey included 26 beginners, 32 mid-level students and 33 yoga teachers. Beginners only occasionally practice after class, intermediate students practice two or three times a week, and yoga teachers six times a week.
