为加速实现矿山坑道钻探机械化,冶金部地质研究所、武钢矿山指挥部和大冶铁矿共同进行坑道金刚石绳索取芯钻进技术的研究与试验工作.1982年,冶金部地质研究所设计了YS47-Ⅱ型坑道绳索取芯钻具及绳索取芯绞车、专用水接头等附属装置,1983年3月在武钢大冶铁矿尖林山矿区坑道内进行生产试验.试验采用的钻机为钻石-300型全液压金刚石岩芯钻机.到5月份为止,完成了一个300.05米的90°垂直钻孔和一个136.06米的水平钻孔,第三个水平试验钻孔正在施工,孔深已近百米. 绳索取芯钻杆采取直接连接形式,不需要钻杆接头,从而减少了加工工作量和费用.经过300米孔深的钻进
