According to a survey conducted by the United States, 95% of Americans do not wash their hands after using their toilets for enough time to kill harmful bacteria in their hands. A research team at Michigan State University in the United States mobilized students to secretly collect data in bars, restaurants and other public places, and observed a total of 3,749 handwashes performed after going to the toilet. The results showed that for every 10 people, one person would skip the hand-washing session after going to the toilet and about one-third would not use soap. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says 50% of the foodborne illnesses are ”disease-free."
