OBJECTIVE: To analyze the difference of MRI signal intensity after the enhancement of gadoxate acid in normal liver and cirrhosis of rats and to compare the correlation between the expression of gadoxate transporter protein and the changes of the tubule morphology. Materials and Methods All animal groups were approved prior to the start of all studies. Thirteen rats were dosed with thiourea in total
