红锥(Castanopsis hystrix)是优良用材树种,木材材质好,用途广,是家具、船舶、车辆、建筑和工具等良材。为探索红锥短穗扦插技术,我所于1984年开始用优树枝条和优树伐根的1年生萌芽条和1年生超级苗进行短穗扦插育苗试验。1年多来,共进行了六批扦插试验,扦插了穗条675株,成活250株,成活率37%。第五批试验成活率最高,成活率为70.6%。现把试验结果小结于后。一、试验材料1.红锥优树枝条和优树伐根萌芽条优树枝条是从优树上剪取。萌芽条是用5株优势木比较法选择出优树,并将优树砍伐,取伐根萌芽条作为插穗。2.超级苗木超级苗木的选择标准是平均高加三个标准差。超级苗是作为优树伐根萌芽条不足时的补充部分。3.生长素和生长刺激剂扦插时使用
