1. Introduction This report reports on the design and manufacture of digital-to-analog video converters. This converter receives data from a digital computer and converts the data into a standard 525-line television display format. The system is designed for low-altitude helicopter flight research and will be tested on an avionics research aircraft (EVAR) flight test. The aircraft is a CH-53 helicopter equipped with a variety of instruments designed for avionics research and development programs. Military aircraft during ultra-low altitude flights under day and night conditions require pilots to be aware of the terrain features in front of them. At the moment, low-altitude flights are specialized in driving
