聊城客车厂多种经营搞得活,这在交通系统同行业中比较有名,而该厂服务公司的发展则是他们搞活多种经营的缩影。自1988年成立服务公司并对其实行招标承包以来,该服务公司在上级领导部门和总厂的支持及帮助下,充分发挥船小调头快的优势,瞄准市场夹缝,积极调整产品结构,开发适销对路产品,转向灵活,攻守自如,不断发展壮大。几年来主要产品由原来的3种发展到9个门类40多种,年产值由不足5万元增加到28万元,利润由原来的负数发展到近10万元。
