The first “History of Western Art” I saw on my dad’s shelf when I was a child made me know the origins of human painting - the cave paintings of the primitive people: the top of the Russkamp cave painting in France, Horse, three bison, I especially value the horse; Altamura cave painting in Spain, painting a bison. Since then, I’ve been paying attention to these original murals for many times during my six decades of teaching in painting, teaching in painting and even painting. In recent years I have thought more about them and their authors.
