从同一耕作机具的水耕、旱耕对比試驗的測定中,可以显見水耕阻力要比旱耕小。分析其原因,除了水田土壤因水浸而松軟,以致比阻較小以外,水在犁面与土垡間产生的潤滑作用也是重要因素之一。我国南方水田地区农民已早有犁鏟加套的經驗,既可減輕阻力,又改善了耕翻貭量。因此可以設想,在旱耕时采用犁面加水潤滑的方法,亦可能減輕犁的工作阻力。
