On March 27, 1998, Bombardier announced the establishment of Bombardier International. The mission of this new business group is to increase Bombardier’s market share in emerging markets. Bombardier is determined to make the company’s revenue in these markets the main share of its annual revenue. Bombardier International will focus its efforts and resources on this goal to accelerate Bombardier’s growth in the global target area.
