前言镜煤质反射率是判别煤级的一个重要指标,它可以很好的反映出煤的变质程度,为煤分类提供依据。同样在沉积岩中测定干酪根镜煤质反射率,它也可以很好的反映出有机质的成熟度,是划分油、气演化分布界线,预测油、气远景的一个重要指标。关于这方面即煤岩学在石油地质上应用的研究工作,近年来国外进展很快,法国、西德、美国和日本等国家不少学者,都在广泛开展用镜煤反射率资料进行区域性含油气远景的评价工作,并且已经取得了卓有成效的研究成果。

It is also an important indicator for dividing the evolutionary boundary of oil and gas and predicting the oil and gas prospects. In this regard, that is, the application of petrology and geology in petroleum geology research work, foreign progressed rapidly in recent years, many scholars in France, West Germany, the United States and Japan and other countries, are widely carried out with mirror reflectivity data for regional Oil and gas prospects of the evaluation work, and has achieved fruitful research results.
