A group of researchers at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel, has developed an oral insulin formulation that can replace injections. This new method of oral insulin is undergoing early clinical trials. In addition to the current main methods used such as disposable injection, subcutaneous injection pump, nasal spray, the drug may become another treatment.
