历史意味着向空间拓展,但中国哲学却贯穿着一种与西方思想史上将时间空间化的相反倾向,即将空间时间化。这种传统思想具有将空间存在虚无化的消极作用,导致了“自然无为”观和线性历史“决定论”的流行,对国人思维方式及其行为的影响极大,严重地妨碍了他们向空间拓展的眼光和勇气,因而产生了“黄梁一梦”的悲剧性隐喻,应当引起具有现代意识的人们充分警悟。过去我们总是把我国几家主要的美学派别看成是唯心主义与唯物主义的争论,并且总是原则上肯定“客观论”美学,而否定其他几派的学说。其实,这里并无“唯心”与“唯物”的区别,而是由于传统时间观念的作祟,总想以本原代替本体,以物的唯一决定代替人的多元创造。

In the past we have always regarded several major aesthetic schools in our country as arguments of idealism and materialism, and have always affirmed the principle of “objective” aesthetics in principle and negated the doctrines of the other schools. In fact, there is no difference between “idealism” and “materialism” here. Rather, it is due to the misunderstanding of the traditional concept of time and the total substitution of the original for the noumenon and the only decision of the material to replace the plural creation of human beings.
