中国共产党党员,鲁迅美术学院原院长,著名版画家、美术教育家、文艺理论家张望同志,因病医治无效,于1992年6月28日上午8时35分逝世,终年七十六岁.张望同志,广东大埔县人,1916年生.1934年毕业于上海美术专科学校西画系并参加革命工作,是左翼美术家联盟成员.三十年代初,他参加了鲁迅先生倡导的中国新兴木刻运动,是M·K木刻研究会负责人之一.1934年他离开上海到汕头海滨师范、回澜中学、神美艺术
Comrade Zhang Wang, a former Communist Party member and former dean of the Luxun Academy of Fine Arts, a famous printmaker, art educator and literary theorist, died at 8:35 am on June 28, 1992, at the age of seventy-six. Comrade Zhang Wang, a native of Dapu, Guangdong, was born in 1916. He graduated from the Western Painting Department of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts in 1934 and joined the revolutionary work and is a member of the Left Artists Association. In the early 1930s, he participated in the emerging woodcut campaign initiated by Mr. Lu Xun , One of the heads of M.K Woodcut Research Institute, left Shanghai in 1934 to Shantou Seafront Normal School, Hui Lan Middle School and Shen Mei Art
