Today, women’s public speaking seems to have become commonplace, their eloquent and agile thinking so that it does not allow men and women. It is well known that the speech by Soong Mei-ling, the wife of the Republic of China leader Chiang Kai-shek, in the United States and elsewhere in the country is one of the important reasons for Chiang Kai-shek to continue his rule. What people do not know is that in the first three decades prior to the establishment of the Chiang Kai-shek government-led Nanjing National Government, there was no chance for women to speak in almost all public places due to the low status of Chinese women. This unfair history was changed on March 15, 1901 by a student from the present Zhuhai area, Xue Jinqin.
