The performance of oil-injected screw compressors depends on many design parameters such as the rotor profile, the number of teeth in the rotor, the rotor’s L / D ratio, helix angle, geometric clearance, fuel injection and injection position, And exhaust speed and so on. Grasp the impact of these parameters on the performance of the compressor can help designers to select the best performance of the compressor to meet the use. This paper systematically tests the influence of the above several parameters on the size and performance of compressors with given theoretical volume flow. The rotor geometry and compressor performance are calculated using a proprietary computer program (1,2). The results show that the correct choice of design parameters can significantly improve compressor performance, and several very valuable curves representing the relationship between these parameters and compressor size and performance have been obtained.
