青藏铁路高海拔和多雷电对电器、电子、电机产品的工作可靠性有不可忽视的影响。液力传动机车基本上可避开这方面的问题 ,为适应青藏铁路特殊区段牵引的需要 ,提出了采用B1-1B轴式的中间一节不设司机室的液力传动三机重联成一个单元的牵引模式 ,并对其结构和特点作了初步探讨。
