Cadmium is a potential teratogen to some experimental animals and can affect the development of various organ systems. However, giving zinc at the same time can almost completely eliminate the harm of cadmium to rodent embryos. Cadmium is known to cause severe damage to the testis of rats, but it has been shown that giving a small amount of cadmium to the male before administering it to the mouse lessens testicular cadmium significantly protects the testis from damage. Semba and other reports, to a small dose of cadmium pretreatment of cadmium, can reduce cadmium-induced cranial deformities. The authors divided the gerbils of expectant mothers into five groups, treated with cadmium sulfate (from the time of pregnancy), in doses and routes as follows: Group I - intravenous injection of 2 mg / kg on day 8; Group II - day 6 Injection of 1 mg / kg plus intravenous injection of 2 mg / kg on the 8th day; group 3 - injection of 1 mg / kg subcutaneously on the 7th day plus 2 mg / kg iv on the 8th day; Group IV - / kg plus intravenous injection on the 8th day
