Beginning of the New Year, Review 2005, Outlook 2006, Information Accessibility In China, a tough and fruitful year has passed. We are about to usher in another spring of recovery. At this juncture of old and new hand-over, we are very pleased to invite Secretary Huang Chengqing, secretary general of China Internet Association, to accept an exclusive interview with this magazine to talk about the past with no barrier to information and look forward to the future. Internet World: The First Information Accessibility Forum in 2004 and the 2nd Information Accessibility Forum in 2005, you all attended the forum and made wonderful speeches. You also hosted one at the 2nd Information Accessibility Forum There are many guests to speak on the theme, it can be said that China Internet Association for the accessibility of information has given great attention. Huang Chengqing: In my opinion, the goal of information accessibility is to enable all people to participate equally in the information society and enjoy the fruits of the information society. This is a long-term cause. From the development of our Internet industry, no matter what class of people in society should benefit from the development of the industry, no matter what his benefits are more or less, so that everyone can support the development of this industry. For example, if the government considers it a monster and a scourge in the development of this industry, it will not be able to control it. Will the government be motivated to support its development? I do not think so. If parents think children surfing the internet are like smoking opium, will they support networking? To give another example, the obvious benefit to motorists is that they improve the efficiency of travel and are protected from the wind and sun. However, vehicles emit exhaust gas which pollutes the environment and even makes some people sick.
