蝮蛇全毒对3个人癌裸小鼠移植瘤的实验治疗结果表明,它对人肝癌移植瘤有一定的治疗作用,肿瘤抑制率为63.7%,而对人肺腺癌及人肺鳞癌移植瘤均无效。眼镜蛇全毒对上述3个移植瘤均无抗肿瘤作用。从蝮蛇全毒分离的4个组分中,D组分保持着对人肝癌移植瘤的抗癌活性,并观察到该组分引起的移植瘤细胞核的病理变化。
