互文性就是语篇生产者将别的话语、别的结构或别的成分引入自己的语篇中,或构建一种形式或内容,或实现语篇的新颖性,或表达一种独到的视角,或转移信息焦点。基于该角度,运用教学中遇到的例子,阐明英语典故在理解篇章内容方面起到的重要作用,以此呼吁学生要扩大自己的阅读面。
