三峡工程二期混凝土工程量大，质量要求高，必须根据需要和可能的原则对原材料进行优选。从改善混凝土性能和三峡二期混凝土采用人工骨料这一客观实际出发，三峡工程混凝土选用1级粉煤灰，高效减水剂和525中热硅酸盐水泥较好。
