The Richelieu Courthouse, the predecessor of the French National Library, houses a large collection of precious collections, including manuscripts, map areas, coins, medals, antique collections and art performance areas in the reading room. Since 1993, it has also become the site of the French Art History Library. Not long ago, with the completion of the first phase of the renovation project, the Chartes School Library in France was also relocated here. Three reputable institutions are now housed in the same “jewel box”, forming a world-class art and history display center in central Paris. In the early 21st century, this magnificent building inevitably aged and unable to meet its functional needs, so the renovation of the building is imminent.
