The purpose of this paper is to study a series of suitable conditions for the separation and desorption of Ephedrae from the Ephedra extract when using a kg-2 cation exchange resin. The adsorption efficiency of ephedra is related to the speed of the adsorption column and the pH of the undiluted solution.
