OBJECTIVE: To assess the effects of different weights and gender on the static balance of the body. Methods: A randomized interactive design was used in this study. Twenty healthy young trainees and 10 male trainees were enrolled in this study. 0 kg, 15 kg, 27.5 kg and 50 kg loads were completed, 10 female trainees were completed, and 0 kg, 15 kg and 27.5 kg loads were completed. Carrying back with a double shoulder, a military rucksack, with the provisions of the military equipment. Static balance test using PK254P balancer. Results: Compared with 0 kg weight, the standard deviation and the elliptical area of COP of the trunk stability parameter COP were significantly decreased (P <0.05), the standard deviation of left and right, the mean velocity in the anteroposterior direction and the mean lateral motion (P> 0.05). When the weight was 27.5 kg, only the left and right standard deviations increased significantly (P <0.05), while the other stability parameters had no significant changes. When the weight was 50 kg, except for the standard deviation before and after, (P <0.05). There was no significant change in body stability parameters of 0 kg, 15 kg and 27.5 kg for female students (P> 0.05). Compared with 0 kg, the transverse center pressure and longitudinal center pressure of the trunk symmetry parameters were significantly decreased (P <0.05), while those of the 27.5 kg and 50 kg weight bearing groups were no significant changes (P> 0.05). There was no significant change in lateral center pressure for female participants at 15 kg and 27.5 kg, but longitudinal center pressure increased significantly. There was no significant difference in trunk stability parameters and transverse center pressure between male and female students (P> 0.05), but longitudinal center pressure had significant difference (P <0.05). Conclusion: The male students ’stability is increased under a certain amount of weight loss, while the overweight body is impaired in maintaining the static balance. However, the female students’ weight is increased and the body is leaning forward, and the static balance of the body needs to be compensated.
