荞麦是我县主要粮食作物,每年种植面积25万亩左右,约占全县农作物播种面积的2.6%。1985年我站开始和省地有关单位在三岔渠乡车路壕村进行荞麦丰产栽培试验研究,1986年全县推广1000亩,平均亩产94.6公斤;1987年推广丰产田2000亩,虽遇严重干旱,平均亩产仍达71.6公斤;1988年推广2万亩,平均亩产90公斤;1989年全县仍保持丰产田2万亩,平均亩产76公斤。现将其栽培技术介绍如下。一、选用高产优良品种1985年开始我们引进了牡丹荞、榆3-3、4倍体、北海道等品种的试验和大面积推广。根据各品种的特点,在不同区域内进行合理布局,南部山区、中部涧地区安排四倍体、榆3-3作为主栽品种。1989年全县推广了3万多亩,平均亩产58.4公斤,较本地
