For the current foreign language teaching, using multimedia technology has become a necessity in information age. The modernization of computer has paved a new way of deepening teaching reform and improving teaching efficiency and quality. With the computer technology applied in education, language teachers have witnessed dramatic changes in the ways that languages are taught. Multimedia technology applied in English teaching has been considered to be a more effective medium, which represents an inevitable trend of applied linguistics. For the current foreign language teaching, using multimedia technology has become a necessity in information age.
