A laser scanning non-contact measurement method and measurement system for measuring the roundness error of a large-sized rotating body are proposed by using laser slit scanning principle and photoelectric sensing technology. This article discusses in detail the measurement system and its measurement principle, the eccentricity error of the workpiece installation technology and the computer real-time data processing system. The experimental results confirm the feasibility of this measurement method
