[Objective] The aim was to study the extraction and purification technology of Lonicera japonica Thunb..[Method]The optimum extraction and purification technologies were obtained from the single factor test and the orthogonal test respectively.[Result]The optimum extraction conditions were as follows:extraction temperature of 60 ℃,pH of 4,ethanol concentration of 60%,material-liquid ratio of 1:25 and extraction time of 1.5 h,under the above conditions the yield of chlorogenic acid was 4.6%.The optimum purification conditions were as follows:eluent concentration of 20%,eluent volume of 5 BV,eluent pH of 8 and flow rate of 5 ml/min,with which the purity of chlorogenic acid was 58.3%.[Conclusion]The optimum extraction and purification technology were obtained,which would provide experimental evidence for the industrialized production of chlorogenic acid.
