关于不以—ly结尾的形容词与副词,情况比较复杂,本文只就某些以a—开头的和以—ward(s)结尾的形容词与副词的用法区别加以归类与简析。 1、以a—开头的词。 某些以a—开头的词其用法受到一定限制,一般不能作修饰语,只能作补语,分类时语法家们意见很难一致。我们只能根据其句法作用,将其分为以下三类。 1)、通常只作形容词用,在句中作表语(表示一种暂时的状态),不能与动作动词连用。常用的有:
