托尼·莫里森是一位杰出的美国作家,同时也是美国黑人文学第三次浪潮中涌现出的最具含金量的非裔女作家。从身体维度解读她的小说《最蓝的眼睛》,可以看出这部作品中别具匠心的身体描写反映的是更深层次的社会和种族问题。主要分为四个部分,第一部分是对身体理论建构的梳理;第二部分详细分析白人至上的身体美标准给黑人带来的精神伤害,以及黑人在白人霸权文化中的自我迷失;第三部分对作品中克劳迪娅拆解洋娃娃的行为进行后殖民分析;最后是结语部分。莫里森的小说从身体的维度展现了她对黑人生存环境的思考,揭示了在白人主流社会中黑人所受到的无形压迫和禁锢,也引起我们对当今社会仍存在的身体美标准的反思。
Tony Morrison is an outstanding American writer and the most valuable African American woman writer emerged in the third wave of Afro-American literature. Interpreting her novel The Bluest Eye from the physical dimension shows that the distinctive physical depiction in this work reflects deeper social and racial issues. The first part is a review of the construction of the theory of the body. The second part analyzes in detail the mental harm caused by white supremacy to the Negro and the loss of self in the white supremacy culture. The third part Claudia in the works of dismantling the doll behavior postcolonial analysis; Finally, the conclusion part. Morrison’s novels show her thinking on the living environment of black people from the perspective of body, revealing the invisible oppression and imprisonment of blacks in the white mainstream society, and also cause us to reflect on the still existing standards of body beauty in today’s society.
