“蜡版雕刻工艺”是以蜡染为主要创作媒介,在凸纹模版印花、镂空模版印花的印染技术的启发下,以传统蜡染技术为依托,以现代艺术观念为主导,重新发现传统造物的美,即“朴素”之美。从朴素的角度感悟拙朴的痕迹,并大胆地对传统蜡染工艺进行改良和艺术探索。蜡版雕刻工艺是利用蜡的防染功能将蜡刷在面料上形成蜡板,并利用雕刻技法以刀代笔将事先描绘的纹样雕刻出来,刀痕与蜡染自然冰纹的结合形成了一种独特的新视觉艺术语言。在朴素中彰显出生命的韧力,达到至纯至精、至简至美,将传统蜡染技术与现代艺术有机地融合,延伸拓展了一种新的蜡染艺术形式。
