This article focuses on the beautiful image of Tess, a country girl living in the era of free capitalism’s transition to imperialism. The writer, Hardy, who spanned two centuries, criticized the patriarchal system through depictions of Tess’s misery. Today, our purpose is mainly to analyze this work by using the connotation of ecofeminism and to analyze its works about the causes of the tragedy of the heroine Tess and the relationship between nature and women whose authors want to convey. This is undoubtedly a challenging one.
