课外阅读是中学生读书生活的重要组成部分,是学生语文学习和发展的一个重要环节,也是反映学生学习、思想和生活状况的窗口。因此,学生课外阅读的数量和质量就显得非常重要。教师应及时了解学生的阅读状况并给予适当的指导,以提高学生的自主学习能力,促进其能力和人格的全面成长。与课内阅读相比,课外阅读具有更多的自由性。笔者对任教的高中三个班的学生做了相关的问卷调查,结果显示,有超过半数的中学生基本没有课外阅读;少数能读点课外读物,但其阅读的动机各异、水平不一、方 Extracurricular reading is an important part of secondary school students ’reading life.
