Most Parkinson’s patients have observable motor disturbances, but the initial timing of dopamine should be short-term abnormalities that can cause visual symptoms. The minimum interval required to resolve perceived paired stimulus and the time required to identify time-separated images in Parkinson’s disease are reported to be increased as compared to normal subjects. The authors recently performed a quantitative analysis of the time required for simple stimulation of Parkinson’s disease patients at various visual processing procedures to study the resolution time of the visual system in patients with Parkinson’s disease.
