从1999年10月起,达州市在5个县、市启动退耕还林试点工程,面积14万亩。完成造林10.64万亩,经国家林业局、省林业厅核查,退耕还林面积核实率达100％,还林面积合格率90％以上。 为搞好退耕还林试点工程,达州市及各试点县、市成立了由政府领导任组长、林业及相关职能部门领导组成的领导小组,负责组织实施试点工作。有关部门各司其职,各负其责。做到了领导到位,责任落实。
Starting from October 1999, Dazhou City started the pilot project of returning farmland to forestry in 5 counties and cities with an area of 140,000 mu.
