为了弄清现阶段江滩地区不同血吸虫病传染源种类在流行中的地位，有利于江滩地区血吸虫病防治对策的制订和实施，我们在江宁新生洲和栖霞八卦洲进行血吸虫病流行病学纵向观察的基础上，又于1992年在江浦双龙等4个沿江村进行了血吸虫病传染源种类和在传播中作用的进一步调查研究
