“热作病虫害诊断与防治专家系统”的研究开发第一次将专家系统应用于热带农业科技领域，讨论了该项目研究所涉及的基本理论、应用工具及实现方法等技术问题。在理论上及方法上为同类问题的研究作了初步的探讨。
The research and development of Expert System for Diagnosing and Controlling Hot-pests and Diseases and Pests firstly applied expert system to the field of tropical agricultural science and technology, and discussed the basic theories, application tools and implementation methods involved in this project. In theory and method for the study of similar problems made a preliminary discussion.
