19世纪90年代到1920年间,美国大地上掀起了一场全国性的社会政治改革运动——进步运动。伴随着进步运动,美国的社会、政治、经济尤其是思想观念都发生了重要的转变,而这种转变“可以类比于今日世界各地发展中国家所面临的转型”[1](p.1)。所以,无论是出于为蓬勃发展的中国现代化提供镜鉴,抑或是为方兴未艾的进步运动的理论研究添砖加瓦,以世界史之维,重新审视进步运动,客观公正地在高校世界史教学中讲授美国进步运动都是十分必要的。笔者,拟从以下四个方面对进步运动教学中的主要问题进行初步的探讨,力图廓清其主要问题及可能存在的误区,望学界同仁不吝赐教。
From the 1890s to 1920, a nationwide social and political reform movement, the progressive movement, was launched on the land of the United States. With the progressive movement, the important changes have taken place in the social, political, economic and especially ideological concepts in the United States. Therefore, both in order to provide a mirror for the vigorous development of China’s modernization, or to contribute to the theoretical research of the progressive sport in the ascendant, with the dimension of world history, we can review the progressive movement and objectively and impartially teach the United States Progressive exercise are all necessary.
