为控制种传病害的传播,减少或杜绝病害的发生,必须加强对种子的消毒处理。目前,国外对种子的化学处理技术已越来越受到人们的重视。1.种子化学药剂处理的特点种子化学药剂处理,因施药集中,因此省工、省药剂,效果好。种子经化学药剂处理后,除能直接杀死或抑制种子上的病原微生物及某些害虫外,有的药剂还能增强作物生长势,提高作物对土传病害的抵抗能力,进而增加产量。据试验,用化学药剂处理麦类种子,一般可提高发芽率3%~4%;用药剂处理玉米种子,不但可提高发芽率,还可增强抗逆性。
