Based on the negation of the French artist Paul Cezanne’s artistic career, the article analyzes his character and environment and discusses his “I am too weak and I am not capable of ...” How to accomplish the artistic phenomenon of “the father of modern painting” finally leads to the negligible role of self-denial in painting practice.
