前不久,我到上海去出差,向中国作家协会主席团会议及巴金先生本人报告中国现代文学馆新馆建设情况,期间亲耳听到两段有趣的谈话。很有寓意,受益匪浅,留下了深刻印象,而且,自以为,可以举一反三,用它包涵的道理,涉及更广泛的领域。作家陆文夫说,有人曾打过一个比喻,文学好比手中的小鸟,攥紧了,攥死了;完全不攥住,飞了。这个比喻传到巴金老人耳中,他听了哈哈大乐,说很形象,很生动,不过,他还要补充一句:
