以往机械零件上的方孔常采用手工锉成。后来国内外逐步采用方孔钻钻削的方法,对不穿通的方孔和穿通的方孔进行切削加工。但用方孔钻钻削加工工艺目前还存在着不足之处:(1)目前方孔钻还不能加工钢件;(2)方孔钻钻削加工时,钻头始终沿着钻模板方孔作不规则移动造成钻模板的磨损增大,使加工工件的尺寸精度变差;(3)方孔钻钻头是三刃圆弧专用刀具,制造困难,比普通麻花钻头造价高。为了生产的需要,我们设计出车床夹具,采用普通三刃立铣刀,不仅能加工铸铁及有色金属材料,而且能加工钢件。可加工穿通或不穿通的方孔,加工精度较高。
