盐酸普鲁卡因注射液中加入少量咖啡因可使两者形成传荷络合物以增加稳定性。本试验在常规配方(盐酸普鲁卡因2g,NaCl 0.5g,注射用水加至100ml)中加入0.03～0.15g 等不同量的咖啡因,按我国药典(1977年版)盐酸普鲁卡因注射液含量测定方法测得结果如表。
