所谓裂化,就是指在一定条件下,把分子量大、沸点高的烃断裂为分子量小、沸点低的烃的过程。在石油化工中,为提高轻质液体燃料的产量,常采用裂化的方去。现行全日制十年制学校高中化学课本第二册第四章第八节中,安排了石蜡催化裂化的演示实验。裂化有热裂化和催化裂化两种方法,教材先讲述了热裂化之后,再讲催化裂化,这样安排是妥当的,为了更好地与教材内容配合,我们认为,在演示催化裂化之前,应先演示热裂化,这样使学生能够获得更为系统和全面的知识。
