桑天牛(Apriona germari (Hope))是多种林木、桑树和果树上的重要蛀干害虫,在江苏省发生普遍,为害严重。祝汝佐(1952)对此虫生活习性作了初步观察,章士美等(1965)对此虫寄主、生活史和习性进行较详细研究,在此基础上,我们于1982—1984年在徐州市丰县等地通过野外调查和室内饲养,对成虫发生期、为害树种、发生与补充营养的关系进行了研究,为此虫防治提供了依据,现将结果报道如下: Apriona germari (Hope) is an important stem borer on many forest trees, mulberry and fruit trees, which is prevalent in Jiangsu Province and seriously devastating. Zhu Ruzuo (1952) made a preliminary observation on the habits of the pests. Zhang Shimei et al. (1965) conducted a more detailed study of the pest hosts, life histories and habits. On this basis, we studied in Feng County of Xuzhou City from 1982 to 1984 Through the field investigation and indoor feeding, the relationship between the occurrence of pests, the damage of tree species, and the occurrence and supplementation of nutrition was studied and provided a basis for pest control. The results are reported as follows:
