Last year, more than 20 students from our Arabic department at Beijing Foreign Studies Second School went to Egypt and received one semester of language training at Faros University in the northern city of Alexandria. A short period of six months studying abroad, impossible to understand all aspects of Egypt, but in this not very developed country, still feel a lot of surprises. In Alexandria, there are large-scale, advanced facilities, the world’s largest collection of books in the library of Alexandria, a beautiful neat Boulevard, more honest and kind-hearted people. Egyptians do not install security door security door; we exchange currency, people do not test money at all; halfway to ask the way, the Egyptians always warm and help each other. And leaving the bustle of the city, in Cairo, Luxor, Edfu, Aswan and other cities on the outskirts of countless after thousands of years of wind and rain stand still shows the great ancient Egyptian civilization.
