Since the 1960s, Tokyo has stepped up its traffic road planning and construction and gradually built a spider-web-like modern three-dimensional transportation network consisting of railways, highways, ordinary arterial roads and urban roads. With a total population of more than 12 million, Tokyo, with the population around Tokyo, has a population of more than 30 million, accounting for about a quarter of Japan’s national population. Although Japan’s population is highly concentrated in the area, the advanced, developed and convenient three-dimensional transport network has eliminated the concerns of local residents over the problem of poor transport. Throughout the year, except on a very few special days or in specific situations, people’s travel is basically not affected.
