Although ancient Japan had its own linguistic system but did not have a corresponding written statement, it borrowed Chinese characters as its own words, and so far Japanese B still has a large number of Chinese characters. Chinese reading is divided into phonetic reading and training, phonetic reading is based on the Chinese pronunciation, but due to the differences between the two phonetic systems and their respective development for thousands of years, the two languages now have the same Chinese characters Reading method is bound to have some differences. However, there is a certain correspondence between different reading methods of Chinese and Japanese languages. Therefore, this paper introduces the phonetics of Chinese characters first, and then gives the features of Chinese and Japanese consonants in two languages and compares them. Secondly, through the contrast analysis method, the common Chinese characters in Japan are taken as object to reveal the specific differences between the Chinese and Japanese languages in consonance, trying to find out the corresponding rules of Japanese Kanji pronunciation and Chinese pronunciation on consonants.
