世纪之交的我国乡镇企业在克服亚洲金融危机、国内产业结构调整、城乡就业结构变化、国内消费需求疲软等不利因素影响的情况下,保持可持续发展的良好态势。2002年乡镇企业预计预计实现增加值31800亿元,比上年增长8.3％,占国内生产总值30.7％,实现营业收入125800亿元,比上年增长7.9％,实现利润总额7200亿元,比上年增长7.3％,上缴税金2500亿元,比上年增长8.3％。因此,乡镇企业为国民经济和社会的发展,为农业发展、农民增收、农村稳定做出了重要贡献。
